    Hi Florence,

I am Florence Tan too :) a Malaysian residing in Spore for 20 years now.

I am truly glad to see that there are some ppl out there who are keen in introducing JB to others. I too find this site useful as I have “lost” my sense of direction in JB after all the change in roads and new developments around.

Keep up the good work guys!

Hi Florence, glad that you find this website useful. While we are all pretty busy with work, such comments really keep us going.. and for me, especially when it comes from a fellow Malaysian.. :D

thks for all the posting of latest nes happening in JB. i live in woodlands and seldom go there. but after reading some of the introduction of the places, plus some info from users in the forum, feel that there are indeed some worthy places i should go check out other than checking out sentosa! please continue to keep us updated and in tune with what’s happening across the causeway!

HI thanks for the info on your informative blog. any idea are the hyper marts open during the chinese new festive period? or will they be closed till? please advice.. thanks!!

  • 18. felix tanNo Gravatar  |  February 8th, 2010 at 12:07 AM

Malacca is baba – dunno if they celebrate CNY!

However, there is still many Chinese businesses there that will be closed. Depends on what you want to do but i reckon it will be as bad as JB. No point making such a trip down during this period.
