New Lucky Seafood Restaurant (新运海鲜酒楼) is located at Taman Sri Tebrau, Johor Bahru. It has been around more than 20 years and is well liked by the older generation Johoreans.

Famous fares include claypot pork ribs in yam, white chicken and braised beancurd. The price here is considerably higher than Taman Mega Ria but you get the air-con and the comfort of a VIP room (if you make early reservations). In addition, it is much nearer to the Johor Bahru CIQ, at just a 5min drive away. If you compare the prices to Singapore, it is still about 35% cheaper.
Business is brisk in the evenings while it is much quieter during lunch time. You do not have to wait long for the food which usually arrives within 20 minutes. The waitress could had been more prompt though, as it took them 15 minutes to refill the tea pot during my visit.
This is an ideal place to bring your parents/grandparents for a decent meal in Johor Bahru. If you like to sing karaoke, note that there are karaoke facilities at Level 2, so you can eat, drink, sing and get merry (in a decent manner of course!!).
