Larkin Bus Terminal, Johor Bahru

Located right beside the “Butterfly loop”, Larkin Bus terminal is about 4km away from the Johor Bahru CIQ. It is a popular springboard for Johoreans travelling to other parts of Malaysia. Buses/ Coaches depart from here to Singapore, Segamat, Kuala Lumpur and other common destinations in Western Malaysia.

Getting there
1. By Bus:
SBS Bus 170 (from Queen Street via Kranji MRT)
Causeway Link CW1 (from Queen Street via Kranji MRT)
Causeway Link CW2 (from Queen Street only)
Singapore Johor Express (from Queen Street only)

2. By Taxi:
Cost RM$10-$12 from Johor Bahru CIQ/ Custom Complex

3. Driving:
From Johor Bahru CIQ, go up the bridge along Wadi Hana. Once Danga City Mall is in sight, take the left exit and turn right towards Jalan Tun Abdul Razak. Continue along Jalan Tun Abdul Razak for the next 3.5km and you will reach Larkin Bus Terminal.

There are plenty of food options from MacDonald’s to hawkers selling Mee Goreng and Ramly Burgers at Larkin Bus Terminal. To tide the wait, there are also newstands selling magazines, drinks and tidbits. More photographs of Larkin Bus Terminal can be found below. Have a safe trip!

Hi, i like to go to malacca for 1 day trip basically to eat and buy stuffs. Is it advisable to take Causeway express bus from Singapore to Larkin terminal and then from there i buy a bus ticket to Malacca? Also roughly how much is the bus ticket? Thanks……..

You can take bus which are ahead to Skudai, Taman Universiti or Kulai, and get off at the bus station beside S.R.J.K.(C) Kuo Kuang. After that, pass through the overhead bridge. Walking towards to the south and turn left at the first junction, walking along the road, you’ll see Southern College signboard, continue walking about 1km, Southern College will be at your right side.
If you don’t wish to go on foot, you can take a taxi after pass through the overhead brigde. It’ll cost around RM7.

Plenty of Bus from Larkin to Genting. Last departure is 11pm and cost about RM$40.00.

Alternatively, check out Merlin Tower – regular departure timings to KL and cost slightly higher.

From Larkin, take Johor Bahru Batu Pahat express which stops briefly at Air Hitam.

I am looking for Cameroon trip or coach rates.
We are 4 adults, 1 kid-4.5yrs and 1 kid 2.5 yrs.

My travel will start from Johar bahru in the night .

I want to know if there are packages from JB to Cameron. if not if there is any direct buses to Cameron or via Ipoh. If its via Ipoh then what is the arrangement from Ipoh to cameron.

My hotel preference will ne 2 bed room apartment or 2 decent rooms in a mid or above mid range hotels.
Please suggest how convenient is to travel via IPOH.
