Not sure for dumex but try tesco
at Johor jaya. Generally cheap there. This is where I buy enfalac for my 2 year old.

Hi Laura, there is no real limit. However, if there are excessive purchases, you might be taxed. I usually stick to 5-6 tins and 6 diapers. Enough to last 2 months!

Can we still buy cans of milk powder and diapers from Malaysia? Is there any limit bringing them in?

Dear Mummies, for milk powder, you might also want to check out online offers. Brands like Abbott and Frisco sells direct online too, so do the math and see if it is cheaper to buy in JB.

I had bought milk powder from JB on several occasions. For example, the similac milk powder sells for S$39.50 in SG but only RM$78 in MY – abt S$30. However, I realise that besides the wordings (MY cans are in Malay language), the composition is slightly different even though both cans are actually manufactured in Sg.

You can realise the savings only if you buy > 5 cans/trip to JB. Also, you need to assure yourself that the quality of milk powder is the same. For the latter, I am not so sure, which is why I buy online from Abbott now.

No limit on how much you can purchase from Malaysia. I usually buy about 4 900g cans at a time but not more, so as to get the more “fresh” cans. 4 cans can last me about 5 weeks, so that is when i will go in to JB again.

diapers bulky, only save S$2-3 per pack. real savings from milk powder esp if u use higher end Mead Johnson, Abott brands..

not too sure of the prices at UO Supermarket. However, they are unlikely to be as cheap as Carrefour and Tesco.
