Hi, I intend to travel by train from tanjong pagar station to JB station instead of Danga Mall. Is that possible? May I know the time-table from Singapore to Jb. Do you have parking nearby at Tanjong Pagar station.

getting there – was at CIQ’s bus 22 bay, and caught the CT2 bus at 10:25. RM 1.20. Got to mall by 10:35.

According to the bus driver, the bus runs once every hour and ends by 3. So plan your shopping schedule carefully.

Oh yes, some enterprising bus driver of CW1 might tell you that CT2 is no longer operating and persuades you to take his bus. We were asked to deposit 1.50 RM, not into the official collection box, but into his personal tray . He dropped us off opposite the mall, and we had to risk dashing across the busy highway. So be warned!

I was there recently. My second visit, my first being a year ago. My conclusion remains the same. Less than half the building is occupied. A third of the shops sell kiddy stuff. Metrojaya doesn’t seem to be a draw because it’s really upmarket prices, like what we pay in Orchard Road.
If you are still game to explore, there is now free bus shuttle service from Thurs to Sun, leaving every hour except at 1pm. You can take the bus from CIQ’s bus bay 7-10, next to a mama shop. It’s just 10mins ride to Danga.

You might also consider going there via taking a cab from the Johor CIQ instead, esp if u stay in the north.
