If you are still thinking hard where else to go in Johor Bahru, consider Sutera Mall.
Sutera Mall is located at Taman Sutera Utama, just next to Tun Aminah. A 20 minutes drive from the Johor Bahru CIQ , it offers a respite if you are already bored with Plaza Pelangi, City Square and Holiday Plaza. In its own right, Sutera Mall holds its own with 600,000 sq ft. of gross floor area, comprising of 250 retail outlets which offers diverse products for family shopping. It is also very clean with plenty of free parking.
Sutera Mall has it all – Hypermart (Carrefour), gaming arcade, plenty of food (Secret Recipe, Breaktalk, Kinashu Japanese food, Ajisen Ramen, Stonegrill and many more), hair saloons, Yamaha music shop, aquarium selling fishes, shops, baby wear, bookstores and even an archery corner (10 arrows for RM$5.00). There are also plenty of indoor playground for kids who just have the need to run about. See some of the pictures below to believe it!!
Note that mall is has only 3 level but you can still get lost in it. It is not as crowded as City Square but that makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable. For Singaporeans, it is interesting to note that both Keppel Land and CapitaLand have a stake in Sutera Mall.
