Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort

Bored of crowded chalets from Costa Sands, Downtown East and UDMC? Organising a group outing on a shoestring budget?
If you are intending to have a weekend getaway with your group of fun loving friends, Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort (Johor Bahru) might be an option to consider. A 40 minutes drive away from the Johor Bahru CIQ, Tanjong Puteri Golf Resort (TPGR) offers 20 Guestrooms, 34 Double Storey Villas, Meeting and Banquet Rooms and not to mention three 18-hole golf courses.
The Double Storey Villas are Hugh with 4 bedrooms, good enough to accommodate 12 people (or 4 families). There is a large living space that allows you to have people playing mahjong, XBOX/Wii/PS2, card games all at the same time. Outside the villa, it is possible to have an evening BBQ due to the large outdoor space and even a game of football.

Then there are things you can do OUTSIDE the villa. For example, you can book a game of golf at one of the 3 full 18 hole golf course, have a dip in the 50m swimming pool, have a game of bowling with friends or simply rest and relax at one of the pubs while watching the weekend EPL game LIVE.

As with all chalet outings, it is really the group companion which makes such outings fun and memorable. And the challenge is always to get people to agree on the date and cost. Here are more details on TPGR – and just maybe people will warm up to the idea based on the details below. Have fun!

There aer 5 bedrm villa too, so a entire big family can pack in comfortably.
Last year CNY i went, it cost abt RM$600 for 2 nights stay. Cheap if u do the math and distribute to all families to around RM$100++.
And we enjoyed because it is really a leisure getaway. B’fast provided and we also drove to a nearby seafood restaurant (cannot remember name) but the setting is like Taman Mega Ria, got to drive on sand road. That really dirtied my Lancer.
Looking at this photos really make me want to take a break again.
The photos are the kind of villa i stayed previously.

Dear Admin – maybe u can also write on the Pulai Spring as a suggestion. I had been to both Pulai Spring and Tanjong Puteri and Pulai Spring is more clean, organised and fun.
